{"id":1537,"date":"2021-10-01T06:00:11","date_gmt":"2021-09-30T22:00:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/laut.gov.my\/en\/?p=1537"},"modified":"2021-10-12T17:09:29","modified_gmt":"2021-10-12T09:09:29","slug":"history","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/laut.gov.my\/en\/2021\/10\/01\/history\/","title":{"rendered":"History of Establishment"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">History of Establishment LAUT<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>The establishment of LAUT started from the direction of the State Executive Council (MMKN) to the Terengganu Water Supply Department (JBAT) to enact a new Enakmen Sumber Air Terengganu by taking into account the positive elements in the Water Resources Bill (RUUSA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 29th State Executive Council (MMKN) in 2019 has agreed to establish the Lembaga Sumber Air Terengganu (LAUT) to manage and develop the state&#8217;s water resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Second Meeting of the Third Term of the 14th State Legislative Assembly approved the Terengganu Water Resources Enactment 2020 on 12 August 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Enakmen Sumber Air (Terengganu) 2020 (ESAT 2020) was gazetted on 1 December 2020.
