The legal provisions on integrated management on the regulation, use, development and protection of water resources in Terengganu.

  1. Main Legislation
    • Enakmen Sumber Air (Terengganu) 2020
      • Touching on various matters including the conservation and preservation of water resources, raw water charges, control of pollution, enforcement and so on.
      • To enable a Board to be formed which will act as the custodian of state interests and principal advisor to the State Authority in respect of matters relating to water resources.
      • Assist in maintaining the balance of water resources development through the conservation of existing water resources and rehabilitation of potential areas thus reducing the impact of pollution and natural disasters.

    • Water Abstraction and Resource Alteration Activity (Terengganu) Regulations 2021.
