  • The establishment of LAUT started from the instruction by the State Executive Council (MMKN) to the Terengganu Water Supply Department (JBAT) to formulate and increase awareness in preserving and conserving water resources for the sustainability of water resources in the future.
  • Regulate development that affects water resources in an integrated manner by strengthening the Enakmen Sumber Air (Terengganu) 2020.
  • To safeguard the interests of the state by ensuring that the interests of the State are given priority in the sustainable management of water resources.
