The source of power of the ‘Lembaga’ is through the Enakmen Sumber Air (Terengganu) 2020 where this Enactment provides for integrated water management.

OBJECTIVE

Responsible for all regulation matters and law enforcement carried out in accordance with the Enakmen Sumber Air (Terengganu) 2020 which has been gazetted.

ROLE

To ensure that every activity and management can be implemented with quality and efficiency.

EXAMPLES OF ENFORCEMENT:
  • Premises inspection for compliance in guidelines.
  • Integrated management.
  • Regulate water.
  • Regular monitoring.
  • Investigate complaints received.
  • Information search.
  • Provide protection to whistleblowers or complaints.
  • Stop, search and seize illegal activities related to water resources.
  • Forfeiture and confiscated goods.
  • Giving notice or compounding.
