Basin and Coastal Waters Management Section
  1. Laboratory Management Unit
    • To operate the LAUT’s water quality laboratory based on the MS ISO Quality Management System to ensure efficient and quality services.
  2. Planning and Research Unit
    • Provide input in the implementation of development planning by ensuring development planning and land use zoning related to water resources, river basins and coastal waters.
    • Plan and implement awareness campaigns to encourage public involvement in water conservation.
  3. Basin and Coastal Waters Management Unit
    • Provide input related to water resources hydrology, development impact on water resources as well as the availability of water resources in the long run.
    • Manage technical review services for projects involving Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) related to water resources towards sustainable development.
    • Manage effluent sampling of river, marine and groundwater to ensure water resources are conserved.
